I started gaining weight during the pandemic and it’s been going up since then.

Just As I Was About To Lose Hope, I Stumbled Upon a Video From an Endocrinologist That Completely Changed My Life
His name was Dr. Dee, and he mentioned how happy he was to be a grandpa, but he didn’t look a day over 35…
In fact, when he mentioned that he was 68 years old, my jaw almost hit the floor.
He was in amazing shape…
And he had this youthful energy and vibrance to him that was captivating...
Over the next 13 minutes, he taught me more about the human body than I learned in the past 40 years.
Estrogen dominance is a hormonal imbalance where your levels of estrogen are higher than normal in relation to other hormones, like progesterone.
This happens in both men and women.
For women, you reach perimenopause around age 41, followed by menopause and post-menopause, where excessive estrogen turns more calories into fat.
Your body stores estrogen in your fat cells and doesn’t want to easily give up that extra fat as your ovaries decline in production.
At the same time, your body is producing less of the hormone progesterone…
The ratio of estrogen to progesterone is getting further and further apart…
And without significant progesterone, it creates an estrogen dominant state in the body.

But that no longer happens as you get older because your hormones are primarily made out of fat.
And when they’re declining with every year that passes by, they want to hang on to every last ounce of fat
As these hormones decline, you become much better at storing fat instead of releasing it…
Even worse, with all these hormonal changes, your body is put under more internal stress, so it releases more cortisol.

You simply can’t lose fat in the presence of cortisol.
Now, here’s where it really gets frustrating…
Cortisol is primarily made from the building block of the hormone progesterone…
At this stage in your life, you may already have very low levels of progesterone…
So the little bit of progesterone that you do have is now getting sucked up by your adrenal glands to make cortisol…
You’re pushing your progesterone levels down even further, and your levels of cortisol are high, and that ratio between the two is going to make it REALLY hard to lose fat…
It’s why you could be doing everything right and the weight just doesn’t come off…
The rules of the game have changed and it’s not as simple as eating less calories or cutting back on carbs…
…that can work when you’re younger, but you need a new game plan with these hormonal changes going on behind the scenes.
How did “excessive estrogen” become such a big problem?
Well, we live in a world that’s bombarded with exogenous estrogens.
They’re everywhere from plastic water bottles, household cleaning supplies, plant pesticides, and it’s even in today’s most popular cosmetics…
…which is why this has become such a huge problem over the past thirty years…
